Brittany Patton, MS

Integrative and Functional Nutrition Intern and CNS Candidate

I have been interested in nutrition since high school but, for many years, I was intimidated by cooking and not comfortable in the kitchen. Through trial and error, what was once a stressor became a source of inspiration and fun. I love being able to show others how to nourish themselves in a way that’s attainable and brings joy to their lives. Every client’s story is valuable to me and I aim to partner with each individual in their unique health journey.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Foods and Nutrition from Meredith College and a Masters in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health. I previously worked as a nutritionist for the WIC Program and, while there, developed a passion for accessible nutrition education. I am currently pursuing my Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential and am honored to be completing my internship with the wonderful team at Empowered Nutrition.

I am a Fayetteville native, and in my free time you will find me trying my hand at new recipes or anywhere in nature looking for wild edible plants. I have a love for social dancing and am a wannabe acro yogi. My fiancé and I enjoy visiting local coffee shops, hiking, and investing in our church community.
