Brittany Hampton, MS, RDN, LDN
Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Hi! My passion for nutrition started at fifteen while working at a health food store. My eyes were opened to how food has such an impact on our bodies. I have worked in many realms of nutrition. Seeing people improve their lives and overall happiness is a driving force for me.
I am a Registered Dietitian with nearly fifteen years of experience in nutrition counseling and practice. I earned my Bachelors of Science from Miami University of Ohio and completed my dietetic internship in South Carolina.
Across my career, I have grown to recognize the effect of our culture on eating mindset. Thus, I am passionate about supporting clients who struggle with disordered eating and eating disorders. My approach is to empower, educate, and support others to nourish themselves. I am eager to help clients build confidence in their relationship with food.
I have completed the online nutrition counseling course with world-renowned eating disorder dietitian Marci Evans, with other certifications in the works. Additionally, I am a member of the North Carolina chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) Foundation.
I am committed to providing the highest level of care to my clients while listening and providing an intuitive eating approach. Clients will appreciate my compassion and empathy, and will feel empowered to re-claim their lives.
In my spare time, you will find me being active: running, hot yoga, and surfing (if there’s water nearby) are some of my favorite ways to move. I am also always on the hunt for the next best chocolate chip cookie recipe! Taking pictures is another of my hobbies. Most of all, I am lucky to be the mom to four wild littles who keep me busy and laughing.
